Parking during the weekday presented a small hitch, making arrivals a bit tricky at times. the hotel sits next to a busy road, which could disrupt light sleepers looking for peace at night. A couple of minor details, like the scratched anodized plating on the washing basin drain cover and the lack of clear signage on the shower taps, could use some tweaking for a smoother experience.

staying at lorne house was a delight. bob and liz are such warm hosts. the superior double room was spacious, clean, and very well decorated. i loved the stunning views. breakfast had fresh produce and was cooked to perfection. i could not have wished for a better stopover.

We had a lovely stay at this charming B&B! The room was nice & spacious, and Bob even showed us a secret balcony that popped up—best surprise ever! Breakfast was solid, and I appreciated the outdoor dining space. Just wish we could've kept the windows open a bit longer without feeling watchful eyes on us.

Perfect for a weekend getaway

The hosts here are so cute,, and they let me use the kitchen for my little 'room picnic', never had that at a hotel before. Plus, the bed was probably the most comfortable I have ever slept in,, I usually struggle with that when away from home but not this time.

It wasn't exactly cheap,, but for the quality,, it was still reasonable.
